Consultation Forums for the Rejuvenation of the Main Building

Dear all,

After the Faculty of Arts moved to the Centennial Campus in 2012, the University has taken the opportunity to start looking into reorganizing the space of the Main Building and rejuvenating this historical monument taking into account the needs of different stakeholders. Over the past few years, works progressed in both planning and funding application while providing interim accommodation for a number of academic and student related functions.

Following the Government’s approval and subsequent appointment of the Architectural Consultant team earlier this year, design for the rejuvenation works of the Main Building has commenced.

Consultation exercises will be organized with the aim to provide a platform for students, staff, alumni and related professionals to gather updated views, opinions and visions of the future uses and to consolidate concepts for design purpose.
